Wrong body language can be a success killer!

The text emphasizes the importance of body language in communication, stating that over 90% of communication is nonverbal. It advises on how to use open body language to make others feel included and to convey confidence and positivity.

Wrong body language can be a success killer!

Always be aware: Whether what you say or mean is understood by your conversation partner depends on your body language over 90%.

If you address a person you actually don't like with "Nice to see you again," but you don't get close to them or even look at them, your body reveals the whole truth in that moment. Let's make it clear: Conversation partners are often unconsciously excluded more frequently than we realize! Another example: Imagine you are in a negotiation with a client and their assistant. So far, you only know the client and therefore mostly speak with them. However, the assistant is polite, listens, and only speaks occasionally. I know the temptation is great to only focus on the person who seems to be leading the conversation at first glance, and yet: Your body language can contribute a lot to whether the silent participant in the background - the assistant - feels excluded or not. Because often, a brief friendly nod, establishing eye contact with the third person is enough. Your overall open body language is important to create a sense of unity, to avoid exclusion, to make everyone present feel involved in the conversation, in the negotiation. Further tips: Take your hands out of your pockets, but do not cross your arms either! And ... stand up straight! I know it sounds trivial, and yet we always fall back into old habits! Glue! Glue! Glue! Please remind yourself daily that with your body language, you can easily express things that you may not have wanted to express. Putting your hands in your pockets, hiding them may be comfortable, but to your counterpart, it conveys lack of drive and boredom. A slouched posture also does not make you appear dynamic, rather it radiates inhibitions or boredom. Please remember: A straight posture is important. This shows presence and attentiveness. Crossed arms are a typical NoGo in body language, as a person with crossed arms is perceived as rejecting and closed off at first glance. So, an open posture is important because it makes your conversation or negotiation partner feel welcome and that you are open to them! An open body language also helps your own body feeling! Try it out, you will automatically feel more confident, and your charisma will appear more positive. Overall, all of this supports your charismatic effect. I can teach you how to communicate correctly with your body and use it as an important tool in holistic communication. I have experienced it myself repeatedly in decades of work and I must say: Without my body language, I wouldn't be the same! So, be part of it, don't be a No Body, take your body language & body expression to the next level - and rest assured: Worlds will open up for you if you make a decision for your nonverbal communication now! With warm regards and best wishes for convincing body language Yours sincerely, Sabrina Olsson
