Christoph Keese, born in 1964, is one of the most well-known German experts in digital transformation. His books ("Silicon Valley" and "Silicon Germany") are bestsellers, his lectures are in high demand, and his advice is highly regarded. The journalist, economist, publishing manager, and author has been working on the digitalization of business models since the early 1990s. He was one of the co-founders of the Financial Times Deutschland, served as editor-in-chief of WELT am SONNTAG and WELT ONLINE, and most recently, as Executive Vice President, drove the digital transformation of Axel Springer SE. The company has truly become an internet company, with 80 percent of its operational profit coming from digital sources. Christoph Keese is also an entrepreneur. In 2017, he co-founded Axel Springer hy GmbH with his employer, where he serves as managing partner. His new book, titled "Disrupt Yourself - The Adventure of Having to Reinvent Yourself in the Digital World," will be published in the fall of 2018.
