Understanding is winning!

"I knew that I was no longer the same. Although I desperately tried to hold on to this image. This strong, attractive, and successful young man no longer existed. I could not accept that yet." How could Boris Grundl turn a free fall into a victory? From a severely paralyzed welfare recipient to one of the most sought-after leadership experts in Europe? He had to learn to understand. Deeply understand. Understand life. Understand others. Understand the world. Understand himself. The first step to understanding is listening. It was only in a turning bed - with paralyzed limbs and vocal cords - that Boris Grundl began to truly listen to the world. How do I lead a fulfilling life? In "Understanding does not mean agreeing," Boris Grundl approaches the answer. He dissects the question piece by piece until it is exposed. Without cover. Without decoration. And without hesitation. The problem of the modern world: it has become so complex that it is hardly comprehensible for the human mind. The continuous increase in complexity and pace wears us down. That is why most people want to be satisfied now and immediately. To swim unreflectively with or against the current seems to be the easiest path to happiness. Many prefer to stage a great life rather than truly search for it. They prefer to speak rather than listen, are "busy," prefer to "have" now rather than continue learning. Always with the goal: external validation, quick emotional thrills, and short-term results. More superficiality, less depth. However, this mentality of faster-higher-further leads to dependence and not to ourselves. Division dominates connection. Cracks, conflicts, and extremes arise. Boris Grundl relies on the concept of "flexible, clear, deep": If you want to be free, you must learn to understand the world - without judging it. That is the great art and hurdle. More substance and impact, less activism. Temptations to rush to judgment are present every day: criticism from the boss, a promotion, or the choice between teamwork and individual play, between taking a leap and holding back. Often, we follow the first impulse. And we complain or celebrate. But Boris Grundl argues: Better to listen first - to others and to yourself. Put your emotions aside. Examine the perspectives and consequences. "From where is the other person looking at the issue?" "What is helpful about this?" The triad is: Absorb. Penetrate. Understand. Only when I have understood the world can I recognize my own path within it and follow it. And those who refuse to listen will unfortunately have to feel. Pain. Dissatisfaction. Or stagnation. Only those who constantly reflect on the world can eventually grasp it more deeply. And will eventually outperform the loud early starters. Because peak performance always requires a deep and stable foundation. Only those who do not crumble at every conflict can be content and effective. Understanding the world and remaining true to oneself. Understanding is the key to future success. Those who deeply understand see more clearly what the core issues are and make better decisions. But without the necessary distance from oneself, many confuse "understanding" with "agreeing." Those who want to understand deeply do not have to agree at all. Whether it concerns economics, politics, society, or family. The demand "World, understand me!" often dominates over the motive "I want to understand." But the difference is huge. Boris Grundl also had to go through this school of thought: "Understanding is a lifelong task." Those who do not train their minds to differentiate without judgment end up repeatedly in the superficial "black-and-white trap." But there is no right or wrong. Everyone has their own story. Their own perspective on things and thus their inner mountains. Those who learn to broaden perspectives, change perspectives, and consistently follow their convictions overcome their own inner Himalayas: there, everyone can truly be themselves! They are internally free - and they win. Emotionally and honestly, Boris Grundl takes readers on his own journey - from a deep fall to a peak achiever. He impressively proves that understanding, without needing to agree, ignites the power for a free, self-determined, and peaceful life. However, the leadership expert excels in the top league: Boris Grundl goes even further when he says about his accident, which once made him a 90 percent paralyzed welfare recipient: "I agree with it, completely."
