Participants learn effective and sustainable techniques as well as current insights from brain research on how to positively and realistically optimistically shape their workday. Positive self-management is learnable for everyone and means gaining clarity about what is truly important, finding the motivation to do what is necessary, and employing suitable strategies to achieve the goal. The effectiveness of the training concept has been scientifically confirmed in numerous studies in collaboration with the University of Koblenz-Landau.  Self-management plays a significant role in today's work life and is becoming increasingly important. Due to the flattening of hierarchies, employees in organizations are increasingly required to control their work behavior. Goal: Overcoming negative bias. 

Methods of positive psychology help in training strengths rather than correcting weaknesses. 

Effect: Promoting mental and physical health and increasing cognitive abilities, flexibility, and creativity. How does happiness, life satisfaction, job satisfaction, flow, and flourishing work? 

Who is Martin Seligman? Seligman is considered the founder of positive psychology and is an American psychologist. The theory of well-being - PERMA theory Seligmann (2011). Five elements contributing to well-being: The goal of positive psychology, according to Seligman, is to promote flourishing through strengthening these five elements! The theory illustrates that a happy life requires more than just the absence of negative feelings. According to Seligman, a critical factor contributing to well-being is the regular experience of positive emotions such as gratitude, satisfaction, fulfillment, hope, love & friends, pleasure, and enjoyment, as well as training strengths instead of correcting weaknesses. 

What are the goals of the two-day training? The "self-management training program" has two goals: 

1. Increase self-management competence, social competence, and method competence. 

2. Increase mental strength. Both aims to prevent mental illnesses (prevention).
