Humanity - the new leadership quality: Take the wheel, dear CEOs!

The latest Gallup study clearly shows that the downward spiral of leadership qualities is continuously worsening. Poor leadership is the reason why only 15% of employees have a high emotional attachment to their employer. And actually, we don't need scientific evidence for this. We just need to consciously look at the faces of our fellow human beings on their way to work. Irritated, frustrated, absent - that's how it often seems to me. Sitting on a plane, I often think how much I would like to tickle those sitting next to me, just to see if there's still someone in there who is just sitting there like that. You can judge much better how the atmosphere and interaction are in your company. That's why the findings of the latest Gallup study did not surprise me. I just wonder how long companies can and want to afford to leave their leaders alone with this issue. There is an urgent need for an update in leadership competence, as the so-called soft skills have long since become hard facts. For everything, you have to provide proof - when it comes to people, they are just let loose For everything, you have to provide proof - when it comes to people, they are just let loose without being equipped with the necessary social skills. It is high time to flip the switch and tap into the dormant "treasures" - namely the potential of employees - and make the revenue explode again! "Leaders must learn to lead before causing more damage to their companies", says Marco Nink from the consulting firm Gallup, expressing what I have been successfully implementing in practice with my online training "Driver's License for Leaders" for a few months now. Because people who lead other people urgently need a "driver's license," a targeted training that enables them to motivate employees and lead them to success. Because: Only those who are good with people can bring out the best in them! Only those who are good with people can bring out the best in them! “The purest form of madness is to leave everything the same and still hope that something will change”. "Communication" is one of the most important goals, because employees are not numbers, not robots - they are people who also want to be seen as such! Congratulations on birthdays, inquiries about sick family members, children's school enrollments, or the status of Christmas shopping - leaders who also pay attention to the personal side of their employees achieve a significantly more positive working atmosphere. Regular "employee conversations" about individual professional strengths, goals, problems, and visions are also an expression of appreciation, as they signal: "I am interested in you and your work."
