The Ludwig Erhard Summit will take place on January 8, 2016, at the "Seeforum" conference center in Rottach-Egern.
It is a kick-off event for decision-makers who want to explore interesting approaches and new solutions to burning issues of our time through keynote speeches and panel discussions. Even though there is no master plan for a social market economy in global competition, possibilities for a sustainable economic form can be explored through discourse. Keynote speeches and panel discussions will address topics such as "Global Economic Trends and Financial Markets," "Freedom and Responsibility - Megatrends of Consumer Society," and "Digital Future and Democracy." Prof. Ulrich Reinhardt from the Zukunftsinstitut Hamburg presenting the latest trend research, and
Abbot Primate Notker Wolf calling for societal values awareness, Federal Ministers and State Ministers have confirmed their attendance. Leading representatives from executive boards, supervisory boards, and other economic bodies are also expected to participate in the discussion. The panels will be moderated by
Dr. Wolfram Weimer.
In the evening,
Mikhail Gorbachev will receive the FREEDOM OF THE MEDIA AWARD for his life's work. The first Ludwig Erhard Summit is organized by the WEIMER MEDIA GROUP, Munich. The publishing house specializes in sophisticated political and economic journalism.
