The 17th Stuttgart Knowledge Forum: Impulses for the Challenges of the Future

On October 19, 2018, the largest educational event in the region, the Stuttgart Knowledge Forum, will take place for the 17th time. As in previous years, top speakers and show acts from the fields of personality and success, sales and marketing, as well as communication and motivation will be present. This year, the special theme will also focus on the development of the financial world in the age of Bitcoin and Blockchain. Gerd Kulhavy, Managing Director of the hosting speakers agency Speakers Excellence, explains why the Stuttgart Knowledge Forum is unique, which speakers they were able to win this year, and who should definitely not miss the event. Petra Spiekermann: Mr. Kulhavy, please tell us why the Stuttgart Knowledge Forum is special to you. Gerd Kulhavy: Everything around us is spinning faster and faster. Digitization has increased the speed at which we think, work, and live. Those who cannot counteract with the right means and impulses, especially as leaders, quickly get lost. At the Stuttgart Knowledge Forum, we offer solutions and strategies for almost every area of professional and private life. Whether it's Daniela A. Ben Said, who reveals how we can increase our effectiveness and presence through customer and employee amazement and thus stand out from the anonymous crowd. Or Holger Kracke, who gives tips on how to stay calm and happy despite an incredibly fast-paced world. That's the great thing about this event: it offers something for everyone - everyone can draw the important impulses for them. Petra Spiekermann:Is there a speaker you are particularly looking forward to? Gerd Kulhavy: We were fortunate to secure 15 top speakers for Stuttgart. Each of them is a top-notch expert in their field, after all, they are among the top 100 speakers in Germany. Personally, I am looking forward to William Wanker, the "Godfather of Motivation." He has a completely different perspective on the whole motivation and success industry. You shouldn't take him and his sayings too seriously, but rather immerse yourself in the show. I am sure that with his exaggerated humor, he will provide some laughs. But also Christian Lindemann with his lecture on the stages of life brings a completely new and interesting approach. He will translate between the stage of the show and the everyday stage of life and explain what is important daily in our various performances in different roles to be successful. Petra Spiekermann: This year's special theme is the financial industry. What can participants expect? Gerd Kulhavy: Let's be honest: The world economy and the global financial market have never been really clear to the layman. With cryptocurrencies, another component has now been added, which some see as a panacea and others as another nail in the economic coffin. With our high-profile panel discussion, we want to shed some light on this. What is a blockchain, and how does it work? Are Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Co really the currency of the future? These are the questions our stock market, financial, and cryptocurrency experts will answer. Petra Spiekermann: Are there any other topics and trends that are particularly important? Gerd Kulhavy: We aim for a holistic and comprehensive approach. Therefore, we always try to get experts for a broad program. I think we have succeeded in doing so again this year. Nevertheless, a special focus is, of course, on digitization and how, despite the "always-on mentality," we do not forget to "switch off" sometimes. This topic is simply unavoidable. Petra Spiekermann: Who benefits most from attending the Stuttgart Knowledge Forum? Gerd Kulhavy: Basically, everyone. The Stuttgart Knowledge Forum is not a boring lecture event. It is diverse, exciting, actually a gigantic show that also imparts valuable practical tips. Therefore, it is particularly valuable for managers who want to fine-tune their leadership style, but also for students who want to prepare for everyday business life. Students even have access to specially discounted tickets. Based on the experience of recent years, I can assure that the forum is worthwhile for event managers and HR professionals planning the next training day or annual kick-off event. Nowhere else will you have the opportunity to experience 15 top speakers in one day and on one stage. Petra Spiekermann: You mentioned student discounts. Are there any other "special tickets" available? Gerd Kulhavy: Our Executive Tickets are available in three categories as always: Executive, Executive Premium, and VIP. Additionally, we have come up with something special for those who unfortunately cannot attend the event: There will be an online live stream, for which we will also offer tickets on our website shortly. Those who cannot make it to the event due to distance or other reasons will not have to miss out on the tips from our experts.   More about the 17th Stuttgart Knowledge Forum can be found HERE
