On September 25, 2015, the first nationwide Mindful Leadership Conference in Germany will take place at Hospitalhof Stuttgart - featuring contributions from successful leaders and thought leaders such as Prof. Gotz W. Werner, founder of dm-drogerie markt, and Prof. Dr. Anton Gunzinger, inventor and founder of Supercomputing Systems AG.
Today, leaders are under immense pressure. More and more tasks need to be completed in shorter timeframes, complexity is increasing, and the flood of emails is often overwhelming. When the pressure becomes too high, stress no longer stimulates productivity because actions are determined by archaic survival mechanisms.
Mindful Leadership specifically focuses on strengthening and developing consciousness abilities that enable sovereignty in stress and creative problem-solving in everyday business life. The conference inspires with best-practice examples from successful entrepreneurs and systematically shows ways for leaders to find the presence, awareness, and empathy that allow them to act successfully and guide employees sustainably.

- Prof. Dr. Anton Gunzinger, the inventor and founder of Supercomputing Systems AG, provides insights into the creative leadership and collaboration culture in his company.
- Susanne Breuninger-Ballreich, a teacher for Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), introduces simple mental training methods for developing more awareness and inner peace in leadership roles.
- Former manager and investment banker Rudolf Wötzel delves into the question of how to lead with presence and awareness in a conversation with the moderator Rudi Ballreich and the changes it brings about.
Film Premiere "From Business to Being" in Stuttgart
In the documentary film nominated as the "Audience Favorite" by DOK.fest Munich, the situation of today's leaders is vividly portrayed. It tells the story of three leaders who are searching for ways out of the "hamster wheel of being driven." Their motivation: the desire for more enthusiasm, meaningfulness, and authenticity in their work. In addition to the protagonists, experts from business, science, and meditation practice speak, including Jon Kabat-Zinn, Otto Scharmer, Tanja Singer, Arthur Zajonc.

Conference, the film will be shown for the first time in Stuttgart, at 2 pm for conference participants, and publicly at 7 pm with a premiere celebration in Stuttgart. Following the screening, a panel discussion will be held with the filmmakers Hanna Henigin and Julian Wildgruber, as well as the film's protagonists.
