Appearance and Outfit - Clothes make the man - Styling coach

Clothes make the man - even today! I had been planning it for a long time - finally, I had managed to schedule an appointment with a recommended styling coach. I mainly booked the styling coach because as a speaker and management trainer, I also strongly advise my coachees to pay attention to their outfit before stepping on stage or in front of the audience. Here, I want to be able to make a recommendation as a service - especially for my female clients. Besides, it doesn't hurt to have my outfits examined as well. Of course, I was curious to see if I could spruce up my admittedly quite conservative appearance and if I am still fashionably up to date. Especially for my official appearances as a moderator on stage or as a coach and trainer for executives. After all, in my presentations, I tirelessly preach about the importance of the outfit and how it contributes to the first impression. Even though we may not like to admit it, because the content of the presentation and the speaker's inner values are ultimately more important. Yes, exactly: in the end! However, if at the beginning of a speech or presentation, the outfit for whatever reason (Mickey Mouse tie, clattering bangles, or simply ill-fitting clothing) distracts from the actual content, then the speaker has already lost a part of the fleeting attention nowadays. Styling coach - Styling is work Jasmin Leheta approached me with unmistakable enthusiasm and immediately engaged me in an interesting and amusing conversation. She promptly got to work in a professional manner. As she is also a trained coach, she quickly recognized some of my personality traits. I was amazed and felt accurately described: rather conservative and masculine in terms of clothing, nature-loving - spot on! We set goals for this meeting, and I was genuinely relieved because this woman seemed like a real pro to me. I appreciate that because there are unfortunately far too many non-professionals out there. I can only recommend a service to my clients if I have tried it myself and found it to be really good. That was the main reason for my coaching with a styling coach. We quickly moved on to my wardrobe, and Jasmin sorted everything by colors. She also immediately gave me some ideas on how to combine clothing pieces differently. I was truly amazed. I would have never thought of those combinations myself. Very interesting. "Normally," I wear suits for work and simple button-down blouses in various, mostly muted colors underneath - in winter, sometimes with a cashmere sweater. "Like a student," she remarked with a twinkle in her eye. Oh, she caught me there! Why not combine the conservative suit with a "dramatic" blouse, or mix up the suits and combine the pants and blazer differently. Yes, why not? Those were already some valuable insights and "wows" before we went shopping! Shopping - does it really have to be?! Yes! Shopping! That's something I rarely enjoy! Tight fitting rooms, mostly incompetent staff - except at a fashion store near Passau - changing in and out, getting other items, competing with other customers, wrong sizes... Not my thing at all. A completely new experience with Jasmin. She immediately brought what felt like a million things that I would have never chosen, including dresses and skirts! The fitting room marathon was worth it though! I found many new clothing pieces and shoes, great, upscale brands. Fortunately, everything was really affordable due to special shopping conditions. I have already worn all the dresses and surprisingly received a lot of compliments on my outfits from various people! Mega-practical idea: Photo book with all outfits In another session, we photographed all possible combinations, and I immortalized these pictures in a photo book - which is an ENORMOUS relief when choosing outfits. Fantastic! Conclusion: a good styling coach is definitely worth it!
