Soccer integration highlight for refugee children and students of the Konrad-Witz Community School in Rottweil

Konrad-Witz-Community School (KWG), City of Rottweil, FV 08 Rottweil, and jb fairplay organize a public children's soccer event with heart

On Thursday, 06.07., from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, a special integration day will take place in the double sports hall (B-Deck) in Rottweil. Students from Germany and refugee children will play soccer together under the guidance of DFB A-license coach Jochen Bauer and former DFB youth national player Marco Di Biccari. This special integration day is organized by KWG, the City of Rottweil, FV 08 Rottweil, and jb fairplay. The goal of this kick-off event for the soccer integration project (focus: refugee children) in Backnang is to sustainably promote children in the areas of education in school and in the sports sector within the club. Special thanks to the main sponsor Volksbank Rottweil eG and the additional supporter City of Rottweil, who make this special integration event possible. After successfully launching such an integration project in Neckarsulm, Esslingen, Göppingen, Hanau, Kornwestheim, Stuttgart-Stammheim, Nürtingen, Rudersberg, Freiburg, Rutesheim, Bönnigheim, Reutlingen, Ostfildern, Korntal-Münchingen, Sachsenheim, Großbottwar, Murrhardt, Marbach a.N., Ditzingen, Alfdorf, and Holzgerlingen (Stuttgart region plus Freiburg and Hanau), initiator Jochen Bauer and his team aim to bring joy to the eyes of 30 integration-needy students from KWG in Rottweil on 06.07. Following the motto "Sport or soccer connects and overcomes all obstacles," the motivated kids will practice from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Before the training, each participant will receive a jersey and a soccer ball from the sports supplier hummel. After all, you can't play without equipment. However, you also need fun and ambition. Coaches Bauer and Di Biccari will surely ensure that these are abundantly present. After the training, in the presence of other partners including Mayor Mr. Broß, Headmaster Mr. Schmidt, 1st Chairman of FV 08 Mr. Hanusch, and the CEO of Volksbank Mr. Rauner, there will be a feedback session with the participating children. Following that, speeches by the partners and the official handover of a check worth 500.00 euros from Volksbank to FV 08 Rottweil for the sustainable support of integration-needy children through continuous training in cooperation between school and club will take place. Additionally, German national player Sebastian Rudy will support this special integration project with a signed jersey. Interested participating students are warmly welcome to be active in the FV 08 Rottweil youth team to engage in community sports. Spectators are cordially invited to this special integration event.
