Ruth Moschner presents new panel show "So tickt der Mensch" from February 17, 2017 on SAT.1 with Dipl.-Psych. Rolf Schmiel

Can a Michelin-starred chef dazzle us with convenience food? Do we become smarter when we put on a doctor's coat? And why do even young children have a sense of justice? In the new SAT.1 panel show "So tickt der Mensch," host Ruth Moschner and her prominent guests, with the help of astonishing and often absurd experiments, show how we really function – on Friday, February 17, 2017, at 8:15 p.m. on SAT.1. Among others, Michelin-starred chef Alexander Herrmann, moderators Arabella Kiesbauer, Sonja Zietlow, and Enie van de Meiklokjes, actors Antoine Monot, Jr. and Caro Frier, as well as folk musician Stefan Mross will be participating. "I was immediately excited about the idea of sending our celebrities into various situations and examining human behavior in specific situations. You immediately start pondering and wonder how you would have reacted," says Ruth Moschner. "During the preparation phase, funny discussions about human quirks have already emerged. Fortunately, I'm not the only one who is a bit eccentric. It's nice to see that others feel the same way." By Moschner's side is psychologist Rolf Schmiel. The 43-year-old will contextualize the experiments and analyze human behavior with a necessary sense of humor. "We humans like to be influenced by appearances and create a world that suits us: we eat at a Michelin-starred chef's restaurant – so it must taste good! We remember things retroactively – and distort the experienced in hindsight! In this show, we want to amusingly deal with our all too human foibles and quirks – with quite astonishing results." "I'm not the only one who is a bit eccentric!" - Ruth Moschner "So tickt der Mensch" – four episodes, starting Friday, February 17, 2017, at 8:15 p.m. on SAT.1

Challenges of the VUCA world - Line hierarchy cannot cope with complexity

In a VUCA world, traditional hierarchies are being replaced by flexible roles, shared leadership by individual leadership, and self-organization by external organization. Adapting to these changes requires overcoming mental challenges and developing agile routines, embracing new forms of collaboration, and changing individual roles within companies. Leaders must serve teams, delegate decision-making, and trust employee competencies. Despite slow progress, there is a growing willingness to change, with success depending on individual and organizational readiness for change. Show post
