Success is not luck.

Success is not luck but a result of positive attitude, determination, conscious autosuggestion, applied knowledge, and sufficient rest. By embodying these values, setting clear goals, programming the subconscious mind, taking action, and ensuring rest, one can achieve long-term success.

Success is not luck.

Success is not Luck

1. Positive Attitude

A positive attitude consists of trust, honesty, hope, optimism, and courage. When we possess these values, we perceive the positive more and seize the opportunities that come our way. Internalizing these values attracts positive things like a magnet. Someone with a negative mindset faces more problems, focuses on them, and is quicker to give up in difficult situations. Only with a positive attitude can one learn from failures and turn disappointment into an opportunity by using dissatisfaction as inspiration and motivation. Being dissatisfied is a good thing; it pushes us out of our comfort zone. It is much better to be grateful. A person with a positive attitude does not ask themselves if they will achieve the goal, but rather: What must I DO to achieve my goal? Because they firmly believe in being successful. Despite all the setbacks one may encounter on the path to the goal, it is important to remember that only those who keep trying with a positive attitude and never give up can reap success.

2. Determination

Ask yourself what your goals are. Many people are not aware of their goals and do not define them (it is best to do this in writing). They do not have a clear picture of the world they would like to have. People with concrete goals in mind, which they can see and hold clearly, will always be more successful. Once you have a clear picture of your personal goal, your subconscious mind is influenced. From that point on, your subconscious mind starts looking for ways to achieve the goal. You become more attentive and perceive opportunities more clearly. It becomes easier to take action; you are more willing to DO what is necessary when you know exactly what you want. You are much more motivated, manage your time and financial resources better, act more carefully, and find more joy and satisfaction in your work.

3. Conscious Autosuggestion

Through conscious autosuggestion, one can program oneself for success. With this technique, you can input the right thoughts into your subconscious mind. The subconscious mind cannot distinguish whether something has actually happened or if it is just in our thoughts. Like the example with the elephant: "Do not think about the blue elephant with the red hat!" I just told you not to think about it... What did you do? You imagined the elephant. By putting yourself in a state of already achieving your goals at least twice a day, your subconscious mind accepts it as true. You will see more opportunities than problems and be aware that you can achieve the goal, as your attention is directed towards what you want, not what you don't want. When our focus is more on personal goals, we unconsciously behave in ways that bring us closer to our goals. Since the subconscious mind is responsible for the majority of our actions, deliberately influencing our subconscious mind is one of the most important success factors described in this book.

4. Applied Knowledge

You can watch numerous films, read magazines and books, complete a degree, attend a seminar, and talk about your ideas all day. However, this alone will not lead to success. Ultimately, success comes from taking action. It is important to act instead of missing opportunities. You must make immediate action a habit. The psychologist and philosopher William James said, "Sow an act, and you reap a habit; sow a habit, and you reap a character." He wanted to emphasize that habits shape our character. A good way is to act immediately by training yourself to "Do it now" and acting accordingly. Once you have repeated this several times, you can also use it in situations where you would normally hesitate.

5. Sufficient Rest

To be successful in the long run, you must ensure you get enough rest. Our body and mind can endure much more when challenged. However, it is important to give yourself enough relaxation to recharge with energy. If you neglect this, you will only achieve short-term success, but in the long run, you will feel exhausted and unhappy. So, if you notice that your energy level is at zero, you need to ensure you get enough rest by doing relaxation exercises, listening to music, and getting enough sleep. Only with a good balance between tension and relaxation can you be a happy and balanced person.   For more information about our Top 100 Speaker Filippo Larizza, click HERE
