Susanne Nickel - Achieving Goals in a Good Mood

In a Good Mood Towards Your Goal (Achieving Goals)

Do you also wonder how you can fulfill your wishes and manage to achieve your goals in order to lead a more satisfying life? In my book "Achieving Goals. From Vision to Reality" published by Haufe Verlag, I take you on a journey to your very personal goal. I will show you selected coaching tools and have developed seven so-called Good-Mood-Loops, with which you can implement your goals with joy and the necessary perseverance. Learn to successfully use these coaching techniques for yourself, following the motto: Coach yourself, because otherwise no one else will!

“The Good-Night Prayer for Go-Getters”

I want to introduce you to a very important technique right away: it comes from mental coaching and I have modified it slightly to help you reach your goal faster. When you are lying in bed in the evening, just before falling asleep, imagine how you have achieved your goal. Visualize it clearly, preferably like a movie. Mentally immerse yourself in this state. What do you notice? What do you perceive? Maybe you smell, hear, or taste something? Harness the magical power of visualization. And now comes your personal acceleration booster, which you can easily install in your life: Gratitude. Gratitude has an immense leverage effect on achieving our goals. When you are grateful to others, you are in a very positive and respectful mood towards them. When you are grateful for your own small successes, you adopt a joyful and respectful attitude towards yourself. Be grateful for little things that have gone well today. Be grateful, for example, that your coffee tasted good today, or that your meeting went well, or that you found a parking space. It's not about anything big. Little things are more than enough. Recently, I received an email from a client of mine who applied this technique: “Ms. Nickel, imagine, I made it and am now a team leader. Thank you for the great techniques, they really helped me. I particularly liked the visualization combined with the gratitude method, which is why I call it 'The Good-Night Prayer for Go-Getters'!”
