Every year, on the Northern Hemisphere, in the midst of a cold and dark season overflowing with transience, a time begins that is incomparable. The Advent and Christmas season. It is enchanting and magical, contemplative and connecting, full of love and hope, full of expectations and hustle and bustle.
When Georg Michael sings "Last Christmas, I gave u my Heart" and Mariah Carey sings "All I Want for Christmas is you" on repeat, filling our ears and nerves,
when the companions St. Nicholas, Santa Claus & Co embark on their mission,
when the evening streets, trees, and facades shine in the glow of fairy lights,
when nice colleagues, friends, and family come together,
and the scent of cinnamon stars, marzipan, roasted apples, and mulled wine fills the air, then it's time to tell a Christmas story again.
Christmas on a Business Level: X-MAS 4.0

Subject: X-MAS 4.0
Status Report:
Digitalization requires a change in thinking. After careful consideration, we are daring the corporate redesign.
After numerous meetings, the project Christmas 4.0, correction X-Mas* 4.0 was defined with a SMART goal.
(*According to an internal analysis, the term X-Mas has become established worldwide. From an insider, we know that in the near future, X-Mas will replace Christmas in the dictionary.)
However, a change management was carried out before all this to recruit HR (Human Resources) leaders with nerves of steel.
As X-MAS 4.0 is just around the corner, the X-Mas mailing campaign is running just in time.
As we know, communication with our target group is very concise, using selfies, emojis, abbreviations like OMG (stands for oh my god), likes, etc., following the motto: Brevity is the soul of wit.
The X-Mas rolling-out is also stress-free. Thanks to the invitation to the Christmas fair 2017 in January with the slogan After Christmas is before Easter and before Christmas, we, as a new customer, were able to secure and store the new X-MAS 2017 collection with a 25% discount.
Unfortunately, I must mention that the savings on procurement for warehousing costs have been used up.
After a successful kick-off of the organizing committee, monthly project status meetings followed.
During the first project status meeting, there were disputes within the team due to the question: What is the main thing about X-MAS 4.0, and the project was at risk of failing. The know-how from the heavenly leadership coaching on team development and team building was applied. The team's motivation level increased, and at the same time, a corporate culture and identity developed.
Info: There is now a rulebook for collaboration. (PDF see attachment)
In the following project status meetings, a to-do list and uniform job descriptions were created in workshops. This led to clear areas of responsibility, powerful performance, and optimized gift allocations, which in turn increased the service level and set us apart from the competition.
With the heads of the Global Christmas Markets (St. Nicholas and Santa Claus), target groups were defined, the logistics of boot distribution on December 6th were coordinated, and gift distribution was ensured through private gifting centers.
The field service (angels, elves, and reindeer) have already been informed via conference call, and the core competencies have been assigned. The low-cost giveaways serve as teasers and marketing measures.
An elaborate Management Information System (MIS) also allows customers to submit last-minute Christmas wishes through various channels, thereby increasing the added value for the recipients.
To ensure that the Christmas spirit remains unchallenged, the planned live broadcast of Silent Night will be played during the first Midnight Live broadcast of the planned cesarean section.
Lastly, through intensive brainstorming, a consensus was reached on the mission statement.
It reads: "Let's keep the candles burning" and replaces the previous "Merry Christmas."
In this spirit, Merry X-Mas.

And because it was so beautiful, here's another poem:
From the job market outside, I come here;
and I must tell you, we managers have it tough.
Everywhere in the departments, there are peaks,
that often run deep with us;
And from above in the executive suite
they expect the monthly report in meetings;
and as I fought through the nerve-wracking time
Despair often spread.
Whoever I spoke to,
whether with employees or comrades
the mood shifted
week after week.
Where employees lack trust
we are often tormented by the lack of consequences.
Criticism communication, what a horror,
we'd rather walk away.
Open communication with high quality
is often found too late by both parties.
Employee retention, that's the magic word,
how to do it is often found elsewhere.
Employees are drawn by their motivation
to the competition with benefits and better pay.
The shortage of skilled workers grows and thrives;
Companies suffer nationwide.
Crises are often self-made;
Managers, it would be a joke.
with strategy and meeting structure
plus a binding corporate culture;
this should quickly help us
to successfully overcome the crisis of bad mood.
From the job market outside, I come here;
and I must tell you, praising employees is still difficult for me.
How good that there are communication trainers:
they can help, for sure!
