Ulrich Wickert is a well-known journalist and author. During his career with the German public broadcaster ARD, he worked in Washington, Paris, and New York, among other cities. Since 1981, he has published numerous books, most recently a series of crime novels set in France. As the anchor of ARD’s news program Tagesthemen, viewers also came to know Wickert as a witty storyteller, who would often send his audience to bed with a smile by sharing amusing true stories just before the weather forecast. In his captivating lectures, he shares his knowledge with the audience and never fails to hold their attention.
