Michael Feiten is a speaker and trainer whose passion is to serve an audience. Giving them impulses and ideas and illustrating them in a practical way for life and business - with clear language and appropriate metaphors. His style is authentic, professional and educational.
He draws on many years of experience as a former fund manager. As a banker and business administration graduate, he spent 16 years in the highs and lows of the financial markets. His motto: keep your head out of the window whatever the weather and take responsibility. He has received various awards for this, including “best fund over 3, 5 and 10 years”. As “Head of Multi-Asset & Alternatives”, he has made it part of his DNA to think in alternatives. Always. It helped that he is very willing and able to learn and has always attended many seminars and training courses and completed communication training - and “on the side” also studied philosophy (graduating with a 1.8 in his Master's degree). As a philosopher, it is also his DNA “in theory” to be able to stand on the sidelines and think through alternatives, to challenge himself intellectually and to go into depth.
As a coach and trainer, he is a dialog and sparring partner. His approach: always improving the quality of the questions. And the answers. He has been doing this since 2011, initially alongside his job.
As a university lecturer, he also passes a lot of this on to young people and helps them to grow and broaden their perspective. He is passionate about passing on theory and practice at both national (“Business and corporate ethics: sustainable and responsible leadership”) and international universities (“Responsible leadership”) as well as on the ethics of AI and digital ethics.
As a book author, he loves to get into the flow of writing. Conquering new worlds with headphones on his ears. This has resulted in book contributions on “AI”, “Business Ethics”, “Personal Responsibility” and “Habits”, among others.
As a book editor, he has dared to challenge himself with a truly multi-perspective approach. In a review of the book he edited on “Digitalization and Digitality”, it says “second to none”. He is also an active member of several research groups.

Coach and Trainer:
"As a portfolio manager and financial expert, he always delivered precise analyses. In editorially led interviews, he was able to break down complex issues and capital market topics to essential information, relate them to everyday events if needed, and thus create an accessible entry point.
Michael Feiten also masters the ability to present complex and academically sound topics in a way that makes them accessible without losing their depth, in his roles as a lecturer, coach, and speaker.
It is always a great pleasure to work with Michael Feiten, most recently in front of over 500 people. We can recommend him without reservation."
