Peter Hyballa is an internationally experienced football coach known for his passionate, attacking playing philosophy. His approach stands for intense, courageous and attractive football with a clear focus on counter-pressing, dynamics and mental strength. In the football world, he is often referred to as “Mister Counter-Pressing.” Hyballa inspires with energy, a strong mindset and an uncompromising vision of how modern football should be played and trained.

Career, Positions & Achievements

Hyballa’s coaching career began early in youth development. After initial roles at Borussia Bocholt and 1. FC Bocholt, his path led him via Preußen Münster, Arminia Bielefeld and VfL Wolfsburg to Borussia Dortmund. There, he worked successfully with the U19 team, won the Westfalenpokal and became German U19 vice champion in 2009.

In 2010, he made his breakthrough in professional football as head coach of Alemannia Aachen – at the time the youngest head coach in German professional football. Numerous international appointments followed, including:
