Sebastian E. Merget – Presenter, Podcaster & Host with a Passion

Sebastian E. Merget is a presenter, podcaster, and creative force – known as the defining voice and driving force behind "Fiete Gastro," one of Germany's most successful food and hospitality podcasts. Since its relaunch in 2025, he has been the regular host of the bi-weekly show, which combines culinary arts, gastronomy, and hospitality with wit, depth, and genuine interest.

In addition, since the third season, Merget has hosted the Deutsche Bahn podcast "Unterwegs mit…" (On the Road with…) – a format that focuses on the diversity of travel, inspiring encounters, and personal stories. Here, too, his strength shines through: conducting conversations on equal footing and giving people space without losing sight of authenticity.

Before dedicating himself entirely to presenting and hosting, Merget worked for over 14 years as a copywriter – in leading agencies, for major brands, with outstanding success. He has won all the prestigious national and international creative awards in the industry and remains deeply rooted in the world of communications. This foundation shapes his style: linguistically precise, to the point, and with a keen sense of tone and timing.

In addition to his own projects, Merget regularly collaborates with renowned brands – including Porsche, EDEKA, NIVEA, Adidas, REWE, and Deutsche Telekom. His long-standing partnership with Porsche, in particular, encompasses content projects, event hosting, and creative concepts centered around lifestyle and mobility – always delivered with conviction, charm, and authenticity.

For many years, Merget has also graced the most important stages of the creative industry: He hosts "DIE KLAPPE," Germany's most prestigious award for moving images, and the Business Stage of the Art Directors Club Germany (ADC). There, he combines expertise with ease, creating an atmosphere that inspires and captivates.

Outside of work, his heart beats for sports: HYROX, jogging, tennis, and soccer are integral parts of his daily routine – for him, exercise means focus, energy, and joie de vivre. And always by his side: his Cocker Spaniel, Capri, his loyal companion in everyday life and on his travels. The two regularly embark on adventures together – most recently a road trip from Hamburg to Italy in a Porsche 911.
