With over 30 years of experience as an IT executive and an ICF-certified coach, Sharon Ehrlich doesn’t simply stand on a stage and deliver a keynote. She is uniquely positioned to equip her audience with something far more useful - tools. Tools that they can use. Tools that galvanise. Tools that, when taken firmly in hand and used, lead to change. These tools elevate organizational dialogue, inspire workforces, and make an indelible impact on corporate culture.
As the first in her family to pursue a professional career, she faced numerous challenges without her family’s support or understanding of the corporate world. She experienced burnout from saying yes to everything, believing that hard work alone would earn her recognition and promotions. While she was busy working hard, others were working on their visibility.
These firsthand experiences have taught Sharon about the many challenges that organizations face. Challenges like the lack of meaningful engagement and motivation among employees; he struggle to foster a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion; and just how inadequate the channels are for empowering high-performing women and aspiring women leaders.
Sharon’s talks help these organizations fulfil the need for insightful yet actionable conversations on complex topics like workplace belonging, equity, and leadership. And because there is such a shortage of impactful public speakers who resonate with diverse audiences and inspire action, she is deeply committed to the work she does.
Her life reflects this commitment. Her intersectionality includes various social identities: professional self-employed female, Afro-Latina, American expatriate, European citizen, middle-aged woman, mother of a bi-racial child, partner in an inter-racial marriage, and caregiver. These overlapping identities allow her to view and experience the world through various lenses.
Her credentials, including an MBA from Adelphi University and a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University, support her passion.
She is also an experienced emcee and moderator.
