At the age of just 24, she barely survived two sudden cardiac arrests. 4 years, an implanted defibrillator and countless emergency doctor interventions later, she receives a life-saving heart transplant. The business psychology graduate fought her way through one of the most difficult challenges a person can experience - successfully and with a high degree of mental strength.

In 2020, Schwab published her first autobiography “My Speed Dating with Death”. Her second book “Dein Herz, mein Herz” (Your Heart, My Heart) was published in 2024 and became a SPIEGEL bestseller shortly afterwards. In the same year, Tamara Schwab was awarded the title of “Vice Miss Germany” for her commitment to organ donation and became an official ambassador for the German Heart Foundation.
