From rags to riches – the life of Christian Lindemann is one of a street artist who makes it onto the world stage. For the past 20 years, he has been a passionate artist who entertains and fascinates others. With his global success with Cirque du Soleil in 1,500 shows, he was the first German to reach the top of international comedy show acts and became the “King of Pickpockets.” He fills the Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil halls with 5,000 people and has thousands of fans worldwide. He is the only German language artist who has been hired by Cirque du Soleil and thus received the highest award that can achieved by an artist. In his 10-20-minute pickpocket comedy act, he doesn’t only liberate his audience from their watches, wallets, glasses, and cell phones – he steals their ties, belts and even their socks.
