Erik Händeler, futurologist, bestselling author and journalist, started his career path at a daily newspaper. He studied economic policy and economy at the LMU in Munich. Since 1993, he has been working scientifically on the theory of long-wave economic cycles (Kondratieff cycles). He became a bestselling author with his books "Die Geschichte der Zukunft" in its 10th edition, as well "Kondratieffs Gedankenwelt and "Die Chancen im Wandel zur Wissensgesellschaft" in its 6th edition. The Russian Academy of Sciences honored him in 2010 for his economic performance. With his expert know-how and polarizing theses, he leaves no audience indifferent and is among the most popular speakers in the realm of information society productivity. Erik Händeler is ambassador for a cooperative workplace culture and preventative health care policies.
