Intercultural competence: Nothing coins the image of a company as much as its ability to deal with different cultures. Thomas Baumer understands and explains in an outstanding way how potentials are released in our global environment: the unknown or incomprehensible become a success factor. He is a business economist with over 20 years of experience in the management of international companies. On business as well as private travels, he visited more than 100 countries so far, and his two-volume Handbook Intercultural Competence is recognized by many experts as a standard work. His main futher activities are assessment and coaching, with or without intercultural focus. He developed and shaped key aspects of the prognostic assessment. So far, he performed over 600 assessments, is a successful coach and consultant as well as speaker at several universities. The CICB Center of Intercultural Competence Ltd. was founded by him in 2000.
