Vita

Alexandra Meissnitzer is one of the most successful female ski racers of all time. She is an overall World Cup winner, two-time world champion and has won four other medals at the Olympic Games and World Championships. In 1998 and 1999, she was voted Austria's Sportswoman of the Year. Injuries repeatedly set the Abtenau native back, making her comebacks all the more brilliant. Today, Alexandra Meissnitzer works as a lecturer and presenter and analyzes aspects of top-class sport for ORF. In her talks, she manages to cover a wide range of topics such as team spirit, motivation, pressure to perform, change, victory and defeat. After her active career, she is now on the other side of the microphone and moderates events and media training sessions for companies. In addition to her professional activities, Alexandra Meissnitzer is involved in a number of charitable causes, such as Kinderseelenhilfe in Salzburg.
