Andreas Schwend is an entrepreneur with heart and soul. Friends describe him as the driving force behind Baden-Württemberg's digital economy - and has been for over 25 years. The industrial engineering graduate realized his passion in 1995, directly after graduating, with his business partner Daniel Rebhorn in his own company “diconium”. With almost 1,000 employees, the company has since developed into Germany's largest owner-managed digital business and technology company and even has an international presence. He describes his mission as putting corporations in the fast lane to digital leadership - not only strategically, but above all in terms of implementation. In his private life, Schwend never misses out on a technical gadget, which he enjoys testing out with one of his five children. In addition to his family, sailing, skiing and golf provide a sporting balance. In his presentations, he captivates his audience with his concentrated knowledge combined with real-life practical examples.
