Professor Dr. Claus Hipp was born in Munich in 1938. Alongside his studies, he was entrusted early on with the management of the family farm, which is still run today and is now a role model for biodiversity. In 1963, he joined his father's company, which produced infant nutrition. Five years later, he took over the management after the early death of his father. HiPP has been producing baby food for over 120 years and now employs over 3,200 people worldwide with a turnover of around 1 billion euros. HiPP obtains its ingredients from around 8,000 organic farmers. The company's philosophy is to manufacture top-quality products in harmony with nature. Claus Hipp is a professor at the State Academy of Arts and the State University of Business Administration in Tbilisi, Georgia.
