Prof. Dr. Dieter Kronzucker

Hans-Dieter Kronzucker is one of the most important German television journalists. The philosopher, who holds a doctorate, became known to a wider audience in 1968 through his compelling reports from Vietnam. After moving to ZDF in 1978, Dieter Kronzucker directed the then new program "heute-Journal"; in between he went to Washington again as a foreign correspondent. In 1988 he became head of the "Adventures & Legends" editorial team at ZDF and again made a name for himself with exciting foreign reports. Kronzucker has worked for private television stations since 1990: first as program coordinator and head of the Washington studio of SAT.1, and from 2001 as a presenter and special correspondent for N24. On N24 he has been producing the documentary format "Kronzuckers Kosmos" and the report series "Kronzucker unterwegs" since 2004. He is a professor of television journalism at the University of Television and Film in Munich and head of the "Communications Management" course at the private SRH University in Berlin. The journalist, who has won multiple awards - most recently the Bavarian Television Prize in 2008 and the Golden Prometheus in 2009 for his life's work - is a sought-after speaker at corporate events. Dieter Kronzucker speaks about media issues and global and European political topics. He is one of the most distinguished experts on US politics.
