Lawyers must learn to cope with the pressures common in their field. Some feelings/side effects such as frustration, fear, and anger can surface along the way. This can lead to dissatisfaction and burnout. Being self-employed, becoming a partner, running a law firm, or working as a prosecutor or judge can be challenging given the complexity these positions entail. In addition, personal events such as divorce or death can cause pain and lead to mistakes at work. You don't have to hide your pain; instead, you can use it for your personal growth and become a better lawyer! With my holistic counseling, you will learn how to manage your work in a way that meets your needs. My unique feature is that I work not only on a cognitive level but also with your body's awareness. With my innovative holistic approach, you will learn to feel rather than think about your emotions, allowing you to overcome your problems and take the next step. The Best Lawyers Focus on Brain Well-being
The best lawyers use their brains intelligently. In this keynote and workshop, you'll learn how to improve your brain's well-being to achieve better results at work by better utilizing your brain's capabilities.
Lawyers take great pride in their intelligence and their ability to train their brains to work hard. This was a necessity for success in college and passing the bar exam. They also prove themselves right throughout their careers and demonstrate what it means to work hard in their firms and companies. But all that glitters is not gold: What are the psychological costs of billable hours? What regrets do they have in their personal lives?
Dealing with the Pressure
Deadlines, difficult clients, and internal competition can be difficult to manage, either early on or later, after years of practicing law. When the fear of failure becomes anxiety, the brain begins to operate in the fighter mode. Therefore, working with chronic anxiety in the absence of an immediate threat causes stress with anxious feelings such as fear and worry. These lead to stress reactions such as rapid heartbeat, high blood pressure, nausea, shortness of breath, and sleep disturbances. Furthermore, in the worst cases, stress leads to burnout and problems in personal and professional relationships.
The Best Lawyers Work Intuitively
The goal of this keynote is to teach lawyers and legal professionals how to achieve better results by using their brains more intelligently. With awareness exercises, you not only avoid stress and anxiety, but also open new doors to your brain, which can work more effectively for billable hours. Learn to save time and forget about stress: Happiness at work will be at its highest!
I also offer workshops with mindfulness training that incorporates meditation and mindfulness. When professionals are focused and present in their work, they are more likely to achieve their goals.
For team building, I offer sailing in Switzerland and Malta.
The target group are lawyers, law firms and companies with their own legal department.
The text discusses the need for spirituality and self-reflection to achieve happiness, emphasizing the importance of understanding one's shadows and confronting the ego. It suggests that society can learn from criminals and advocates for teaching happiness in schools to prevent crimes and promote well-being. The pursuit of happiness can lead to economic consequences, highlighting the importance of finding true contentment beyond material wealth.
