Felix Haas is a serial entrepreneur, active business angel and seed investor in over 90 start-ups, as well as a board member of various companies. He is also co-organizer of Bits & Pretzels, Germany's largest start-up event. Haas founded Amiando in 2006 and was CEO and Head of Product until its sale to the listed company XING AG in 2010. Prior to that, he was the founder of TiberiumSun Networks, a web network for computer games and entertainment news with over 285 million page views per month. He is co-founder and Executive Chairman of IDnow, the first online solution for simple and secure online identification for ID cards in Europe. Felix Haas was honored by the World Economic Forum as 'Technology Pioneer 2010', he was 'NYC Venture Fellow' under New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and advisor to the German government for the young digital industry. Haas spent over two years in Silicon Valley, filed two patents for internet products and enjoys flying airplanes in his spare time.
