In the forest TWO paths presented themselves to me and I took the one less traveled. That changed my life. An event made me realize that I am someone I have always strived to do. For the past 40 years, I have always strived to do the right thing. After every imaginable impossible job, I now have the one that I am mastering and can pursue with passion: "ENTERTAINMENT." KNOWN FROM SAT 1 and as a SMUDO doppelganger (Fanta 4) / Pseudonym: "George Le Smoo" (Georg Debus). From toolmaker to businessman and managing director in the entertainment industry, I have filled every activity with life. Even at a young age, I was able to experience my entertainment value, also in connection with music. Now I am ready to share my knowledge and accompany other people on their path to becoming a successful STARTUP.

Book Review "Becoming an Artist Isn't Hard"
by George Le Smoo
This guide for musicians and generally for anyone who wants to become self-employed in art, music, literature, or other fields was self-published by George Le Smoo in 2022. The guide is already his sixth book, which is currently enjoying considerable success.
Entertainingly written and full of anecdotes, it not only describes his own path as a self-employed musician, but also offers useful tips for anyone considering turning their artistic passion into a career.
The author clearly addresses the fact that not everything is "sunshine and roses" and that one sometimes goes through severe dry spells. Take "Corona," for example, which has abruptly ended many an artist's career to this day. How do you deal with such unexpected catastrophes? What can you do to "stay on the ball"? How do you avoid getting discouraged?
The author offers good tips for self-marketing, especially for the entire social media sector. Many of these can be adopted directly. He also addresses marketing opportunities that may be less well-known to many, but are nevertheless worthwhile. George Le Smoo truly pulls out all the stops here and is equally well-versed in the entire print media sector as well as the web, Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
