What can a "diva" teach us? Laura Baxter, the American opera singer, director and performance coach who lives in Germany, has been studying the effect of the voice and body for around 30 years. For her, presence is an essential key to more success - on stage, in presentations or when dealing with other people. In her keynote speeches and LeaderAbenden®, Laura Baxter combines music and singing with leadership topics. She was a lecturer at Duke University (USA) and has been a lecturer at Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen since 1999. As a director, she has brought more than 30 musicals to the stage. She is the winner of the coveted Louis Sudler Award for the Arts from Emory University (USA) and the German Speakers Association Newcomer-Casting Award 2011. She is the author of the book "Dealing with Divas and other difficult personalities" in German and English (Castle Mount Media) and co-author of "Independent Minds, Expert Ideas", "Impulse: Präsentieren und Aktivieren" (Jünger Verlag) and "Die besten Ideen für mehr Humor" (Sabine Asgodom, ed. GABAL Verlag).
