Dr. Mario Herger

Dr. Mario Herger has lived in Silicon Valley since 2001 and researches technology trends. He is a successful book author (The Silicon Valley Mindset, The Last New Driver's License"¦) and runs the boutique consultancy Enterprise Garage Consultancy. As a mentor in the German Accelerator and at Bootstrap Labs, he supports start-ups that are taking off in Silicon Valley. Herger earned his doctorate in technical chemistry with his work on exhaust gas measurements on heating oil and diesel. He worked for many years at SAP - Germany's most successful digital company - first in Germany and then in Palo Alto as a software developer, development manager and technology strategist. With this unique experience from the corporate environment and the start-up world, he advises companies on the Silicon Valley mindset, digital disruption and the future mindset. In his presentations, he inspires his audience with a firework of future impulses and provokes by challenging common thought patterns. He encourages people to take the European path by combining European strengths with American ones in order to actively shape the future.
