Born in Swabia, socialized as a European-curious forward thinker, he started his academic career at Zeppelin University with a stopover at Copenhagen Business School. After studying economics, he devoted his doctoral studies to the interface between marketing and family business. His vision to more closely integrate practice with science ultimately led him to found a future office around the strategic and future-relevant topics of innovation, transformation and the future of work. Professional monogamy is not his forte, so he remains committed to science. In addition to publications and international conference contributions, he represented the Chair of Innovation at the TU Munich at the new campus in Heilbronn for three years.
