Oliver Kahn, born in Karlsruhe in 1969, started playing soccer at the age of six at Karlsruher SC. In 1994, he moved to FC Bayern Munich as goalkeeper. True to his motto: “Keep going, keep going!”, Oliver Kahn grew up to become one of the most successful German professional footballers of all time and the most successful German goalkeeper of all time: eight times German champion, six times DFB Cup winner and winner of the Champions League in 2001. He was voted World Goalkeeper of the Year three times and best player at the 2002 World Cup in Japan. In the summer of 2008, his 22nd year as a professional footballer, he ended an unprecedented career. Since September 2008, Oliver Kahn has been a soccer pundit for international matches and the Champions League on ZDF. He has set up his own foundation - the Oliver Kahn Foundation. At the end of 2011, Oliver Kahn successfully completed his studies in business administration with a Master of Business Administration.
