Dr. Reinhard Willfort

Reinhard Willfort began his career as an apprentice in the IT sector. While working, he later studied telematics and economics and received his doctorate with distinction from Graz University of Technology in 2000. In 2001, he founded the innovation forge isn-innovation service network on the basis of his dissertation. He founded 6 other companies and supports many top companies in strategic innovation management. Willfort is a specialist book author, author of more than 60 publications and lecturer at several universities. He was instrumental in setting up the Master's program in Innovation Management at the Danube University Krems and still supervises it today. As a crowdsourcing pioneer, he founded the first Austrian open innovation platform Neurovation.net in 2009 and the first Austrian crowdinvesting platform 1000x1000 in 2012. He is a founding member and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the European Crowdfunding Network based in Brussels.
