Vita

At first glance, the speaker duo couldn't be more different, but they have a lot in common. Both live in a digital world: Octavius since his birth in 2017 and Götz for 30 years. But they are also different. Octavius is 1.20 meters tall and weighs 30 kilograms. He is charming, funny and likes to get into mischief. However, he amazes his audience with how flawlessly he interacts with his partner, vividly pointing out trends and opportunities in his own digital world. Götz Schartner is CEO of the cyber security company 8com. Schartner and his team monitor digital infrastructures in over 40 countries on 6 continents, processing over 700 million digital security events every day. He advises small and large companies internationally. As a speaker, he welcomes tens of thousands of participants every year and gives presentations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, the UK, the USA, Canada, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Oman.

Topics

All presentations will be given by the speaker duo Octavius and Götz Schartner. However, the robot (including artificial intelligence) will have the main speaking time here.

Digitize or disappear

  • Digital disruption leaves companies no choice but to either digitize or be pushed out of the markets as a fossil remnant of a prehistoric past. Octavius and Götz Schartner show why this is the case and how companies can successfully face up to global and regional competition and become successful digital players with the help of AI and robotics.

The future was yesterday

  • Artificial intelligence and humanoid robotics have been taking over more and more areas of society for years. Octavius and Schartner show what was possible yesterday and what will be possible tomorrow.

The Amazon model

  • Amazon has not only revolutionized the global book trade. With the help of big data, artificial intelligence and agile corporate structures, Amazon is pushing more and more companies out of the markets.

Made in Germany, or how a global market leader is getting rid of itself

  • Our country's prosperity is based on the economic success of the post-war generation. However, Germany is losing touch with more and more high technologies. Companies from Silicon Valley and Asia will overrun us in a few years if we don't react quickly.

References & Press

"Compact, competent presentation - I really enjoyed it and can only recommend it."
Thomas Ostermann, SAP Germany

"Götz Schartner is a modern magician. He uses concrete examples to show the dangers of our big data society in a clever and humorous way. As organizers, we were able to score points with the highly topical topic and top speakers. We "šlike" Schartner."
Kai-Christian Albrecht, General Manager, Federal Association of German Book, Newspaper and Magazine Wholesalers

"Mr. Schartner definitely knows how to get the audience excited. This man is always good for a surprise and manages to maintain the suspense, even when it comes to information security."

Michael Ehlers, rhetoric trainer
