Samuel Koch is the encourager when it comes to encouraging other people to allow change and make the best out of every situation. He began artistic gymnastics at the age of six and subsequently took part in numerous national and international competitions for 17 years. He studied acting at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media. Since his accident on the TV show "Wetten, dass...?" he has been paralyzed from the neck down. He nevertheless completed his studies and initially performed at the Staatstheater Darmstadt. At the time, the magazine "Theater heute" nominated him as "Best Young German Actor. For many years, Samuel Koch has been part of the ensemble of the National Theater Mannheim. He has also appeared in TV series such as "Großstadtrevier" and "Vienna Blood" and in feature films such as "Honig im Kopf" and "Ich kauf' mir Deine Angst". In 2023 he will go on live tour for the first time with his program "Schwerelos". He draws his strength from a strong will and his Christian faith. He gives keynotes and readings for well-known international corporations as well as at church events, trade fairs and congresses. He makes people laugh and cry, entertains, moves, touches and surprises. With all his optimism he conveys the message: "If I can do it, so can you!"
