Sascha Lobo, born in 1975, studied social and business communication at the Berlin University of the Arts. He works as an author and strategy consultant specializing in internet and brand communication for clients such as Deutsche Messe, Fraunhofer Gesellschaft and VW. He gives lectures on the digital world from social media to digital work processes for companies such as Siemens, Lufthansa and Wincor Nixdorf. Since January 2011, he has been writing the weekly column “Mensch-Maschine” on Spiegel Online. Together with various co-authors (Holm Friebe, Kathrin Passig, NEON), he has written non-fiction books on the topics of work, the internet and society. In 2010, he published his first novel “Strohfeuer”. He received the Grimme Online Award in 2006 for the community blog Riesenmaschine.de, the Erik-Reger-Literaturpreis (sponsorship award) in 2007 and other awards. Most recently, his book “Internet - Segen oder Fluch”, written together with Kathrin Passig, was published in October 2012.
