Vita

Thomas Bergmann is a digital pioneer with over 25 years of practical experience. Among other things, he was Germany's first e-commerce project manager in the mid-1990s, built up several online companies and managed the digital divisions of CREDIT SUISSE and UPC Cablecom. His experience consists of many positive, but also negative experiences. This is why he founded the consultancy network “DIGIRATIS - Swiss Network of the Digital Elite” in 2017. A management consultancy with the aim of sparing companies the negative experiences of digitalization and benefiting from the positive ones. Thomas Bergmann was born in Munich, is married and has lived in Switzerland since 2005. In his spare time, he also works as an inventor - he has a European patent for a ski lift bracket - and supports his social project in Mozambique, where he has built a water sports center in Vilanculos with local people. In addition to his consultancy work, Thomas Bergmann is also an expert at events on the subject of digitalization. In addition to his practical knowledge transfer, his openness about what is “not” needed for successful digitalization is particularly appreciated.
