Thomas Bubendorfer has not only made history as a solo mountaineer and celebrated countless successes in the world's mountains, including 30 first ascents as a team climber in the last 20 years. Above all, he has survived two near-fatal falls. Despite permanent injuries and despite doctors predicting that extreme mountaineering would be impossible for him, he overcame each of these crises and completed his most difficult tours after the accidents. How he managed to do this and how everyone can benefit from his crisis experiences is a core topic of his lectures. Since 1984, he has given more than 900 speeches for leading companies around the world and has learned how to translate his extreme experiences into the lives of his audiences from the business world in a coherent and understandable way. In addition to the topic of the crisis, his “Intelligent Peak Performer®” method focuses on how people in business can strengthen their performance and immune system - a particularly topical subject in times of Covid-19. He also gives most of his talks in Germany in English, his second mother tongue. Other lecture languages include French and Italian. Thomas Bubendorfer has written seven books (the last one was a bestseller in China) and is currently working on his first book in English. In addition to his work as a speaker, he is a frequent brand ambassador for companies such as Rolex, Siemens, Sony, Leica and Porsche.
