Prof. Thomas R. Köhler is THE EXPERTS in future technologies. On TV, radio (among others NTV, ARD, ZDF, Pro7, Sat.1, DLF, etc.) he is almost weekly on air and so already known to many lecture visitors. He is AUTHOR of more than a dozen of his own books on DIGITALIZATION and TECHNOLOGICAL CHANGE, including "UNDERSTANDING CYBER RISK" (Routledge- in English!), "CHEFSACHE CYBERSICHERHEIT" (CAMPUS 2021) and - brand new - "CHEFSACHE METAVERSE" (CAMPUS 2023). He draws his knowledge from practical experience and worldwide exchange from "Silicon Valley" to "Silicon Asia". After working in university research and strategy consulting, he developed his own solutions for M2M (today "loT"), natural language understanding (today part of AI/AI research) and location-based services in the late 90s. Later he received a patent for internet security ("highly secure transmission method"). He has been on the Board of Directors at the Swiss provider of electric car charging technologies: "Juice Technologie" since 2017. He has also been a Research Professor at the Center for International Innovation Hankou University (CN) since 2019 and an adjunct lecturer "Cybercrime" at the University of Police, Brandenburg since 2021.
