Vita

Yasmin Weiss is a business professor, start-up founder, multiple supervisory and advisory board member, and publicist. Yasmin Mei-Yee Weiss grew up in a German-Chinese family. She studied business administration at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and at the renowned Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Nice. Immediately after completing her doctorate in economics, she worked in various international positions at well-known companies such as Accenture, E.ON, and the BMW Group. At BMW, she worked in human resources strategy and policy, strategic human resources development, and human resources management for BMW China, among others. Her specialist expertise relates to digital education, digital competence, the future of work, digital leadership, and optimizing German-Chinese cooperation. In parallel to her work in business, Ms. Weiss has held a professorship for human resources and organization at the Technical University in Nuremberg since 2011. In 2015, she was also appointed visiting professor at the Technical University of Berlin for the field of diversity management. Her research activities relate to the optimization of German-Chinese cooperation as well as changes in skills in the course of the digital transformation of the economy and digital leadership.
