Vita

Yasmin Weiss is a business professor, start-up founder, multiple supervisory and advisory board members, and publicist. Yasmin Mei-Yee Weiss grew up in a German-Chinese family. She studied business administration at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and at the renowned Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Nice. Immediately after completing her doctorate in economics, she held various international positions at renowned companies such as Accenture, E.ON, and the BMW Group. At BMW, her roles included human resources strategy and policy, strategic human resources development, and human resources management for BMW China. Her expertise includes digital education, digital competence, the future of work, digital leadership, and the optimization of German-Chinese cooperation. In addition to her work in business, Ms. Weiss has held a professorship for human resources and organization at the Nuremberg Technical University since 2011. In 2015, she was also appointed Visiting Professor at the Technical University of Berlin for the Department of Diversity Management. Her research focuses on optimizing German-Chinese cooperation, as well as skills changes in the course of the digital transformation of the economy and digital leadership.
