  • 1994 Visiting Full Professor of Clinical Psychology / Harvard University.
  • Since 1997 Medical Director of the newly founded Psychiatric University Clinic in Ulm. His research focuses on general, experimental and clinical psychopathology, taking into account neuroscientific concepts and methods. In particular, he works on the combination of functional imaging methods (multimodal neuroimaging) for the precise spatial and temporal localization of higher mental performance and its pathological changes.
